Hi there Friend, hoping this will help many of you who have been or are experiencing some really disappointing Friendships. Yes I have had some too – believe it or not – and I will share some things with you that may be helpful.
Through the years I have made Friendships, some good, some not so good. Fake Friends can be quite destructive to your thoughts and emotions – causing you to think things like “what’s wrong with me? Why are they treating me this way?” You’re attributing it to your fault that things are not what they should be or could be.
Sometimes there can be reasons why people don’t want to spend much time with us or tend to avoid us and/or seem to treat others better.
Such things can be if we talk too much; imposing our opinions; taking more than our share in conversation – these can be frustrating for people; gossip, because it is unhealthy and does not encourage a person to trust you; excessive negative serious talk because the world is stressful enough – people want to enjoy their Friendships and relax; a habit of problem sharing because Friends are not your Counsellors and most people have their own problems that are enough to manage – sometimes they have everyone wanting to share problems and they just want a break.…
