28th May 2026 Hi there, I am going to share some practical Words of Advice on this Page that will help to make many of you Wise. In Psalms we read how to really relate Close with The Lord in Prayer and Praise; Pouring out Our Hearts to Him; Rising from the Depths of Our Souls and having Blessings from Heaven. In Proverbs we find some Guidance on how to Relate with The Lord; Learning Wisdom from the Holy Spirit and being Led by Him.
We also learn a lot about Relating with Others; what is Appropriate Behavior and what is Not etc. I will mention words that came to mind after a Text from a Family Member who is engaged in a lot of Ministry to Others and Lacks Graces in Conversation – he takes too much rope and has a lot to say.
Some of you may relate with that – you may offend in that way OR have a Family Member or Friend who does that and know how Stressful or Very Disappointing that can be.
So the first piece of advice is:
Some people (Christians) think they have been given the “Gift of the Gab” (from God) and they are going to use it their entire life.
In other words, they Talk “far too much” to other people, not giving them much to say – they have a Very Short “Attention Span” and they don’t Care to Improve that.
But Jesus very much wants them to and the Holy Spirit is Willing to Help You if that is You.
Remember James says in Scripture “If anyone is Lacking in Wisdom, let him/her Ask and He will not Upbraid him/her”
In fact, that verse actually says: If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5) I felt to reference it just now. So there’s a very good Encouragement.
Ask Him to Help you Improve your Listening Skills and how to take an Interest in Others.
Remember “Practice makes Perfect” …… This will Improve with Practice.
Resist the Urge to Jump in and Learn Sensitivity.
